Today, I'm going to show you 10 looks inspired by British Vogue's spring-summer 2022 style trends. We'll first look at the runway looks, and then I'm going to recreate the pattern myself, using pieces that I already own. Let's jump on in! The very first pattern is everything about the mini-skirt.
This appearance is influenced by the Miu Miu runway, where they matched a really brief mini-skirt with a belt and a large cotton t-shirt. I took some components of the Miu Miu look and paired a puff-sleeve cotton t-shirt with a tan mini-skirt. I enjoy the blue and tan combination and how the belt completely matches the skirt.
For more fashion pointers for petite ladies, see my previous tutorial on how to dress to look tall. On my feet, I have a set of pointed-toe heels to pull the appearance together. The next trend is bike diaries, and it is all about leather - whether that is a womanly or manly take on it.
I opted for a set of semi-flared denims. I love the juxtaposition of something a bit formal and edgy, like my leather coat, with something incredibly casual, like my jeans. The color of the coat is so rich and beautiful; it just creates a really stylish but edgy take a look at the very same time.
My look, motivated by Missoni, quite channels that beachy, blue-and-white vibe. Instead of purchasing something new that I know I will probably never ever use after this season, I opted for my beach cover-up. If you have a long beach cover-up and some sort of tank top, you can really easily put this appearance together.
The next pattern is all about brilliant, dynamic, in some cases even neon, colors to play around with color blocking. There are rather a few color combinations that are turning up on the fashion scene. This catwalk look here is red, pink, and orange. I happened to have this gorgeous color-blocked dress in similar tones.
I also love the gown's puff sleeves; they provide off a powerful, boss-lady edge. The next pattern is all about stripes, particularly non-traditional takes on stripes. I like the disorderly energy and boldness of matching stripes with numerous things. My attire is inspired by the Paul Smith look here. Although I don't have a pajama-like striped two-piece set, I did choose a striped gown.
I enjoy the unanticipated pairing that these two pieces produce. This next trend is ageless. It's everything about white on white on white. You can have fun with various tones and tones of white. My clothing is influenced by this Cecilie Bahnsen look and I just enjoy the whimsical quirkiness and girliness of this look.
This is such a terrific method to design a bodice without being too over the top. I have on a pair of really flowy linen pants on the bottom. On my feet are black shoes, and I enjoy how they connect my hair color. This next trend is everything about glossy things.
I like that on top of a pretty basic sequined one-piece suit, you have this truly long, silky, practically scarf-like accessory tied across it. That isn't extremely wearable, so I wore a smooth scarf around my neck as the icing on the cake of the attire. The next trend is also a bit hard to design.
To make this more wearable, I took an imaginative technique motivated by this catwalk appearance. I enjoy the net information and the ball-looking decoration that produces a polka-dot impact. Without showing every inch of my skin, I paired a set of polka-dot trousers with a large dotted top, and underneath I have a simple black bandeau.
The next trend is all about early 2000s fashion. This catwalk appearance influenced me to use my scarf as a leading and pair it with some low-rise trousers. Using a headscarf as a top is not a brand-new trick in fashion, but I had never tried it in the past, and I really like the method it looks.
I love the play with various shapes in addition to the juxtaposition of womanly and manly. This designer appearance gave me a brand name brand-new clothing idea. I would never ever have believed to match my yellow sweater with my floral patterned skirt, in addition to my yellow satiny shoes and my pink sports jacket on top of it.
I enjoy how womanly and powerful this clothing makes me feel. Now you are all filled in with the spring-summer trends for 2022; just like I recreated runway looks with my own pieces, why not attempt doing the very same? Let me know your favorite pattern in the remarks below.
